Monthly Sessions
Sessions are held before the monthly PMINJ Chapter meeting, at the same location. No separate pre-registration is needed – just register for the chapter meeting, arrive a bit earlier, and join us.
Speakers will make informal presentations on topics relevant to the role of business analysis. Details will be posted as they become available. Please feel free to make suggestions or propose topics which may interest you.
You don’t need to be called a Business Analyst to participate. Many of us are called PM, Product Owner, Systems Analyst, Solution Architect, etc. – but we perform business analysis tasks as part of our role. If this sounds like you, then you are in the right place!
Mission
To foster awareness and advancement of PMINJ members who work with or perform business analysis tasks in the context of projects and to create an environment where they can learn, network and collaborate with other Business Analysts as well as vendors and other organizations that support the practice.
Scope
The PMINJ BA LCI will work in cooperation with the PMINJ Chapter to provide additional value to PMINJ members and people in the community with a specific focus on Business Analysis activities. The LCI will provide a forum to share common interests and challenges, share experiences related to business analysis tasks on project teams, discuss trends associated with business analysis, provide continuing education and learn from other business analysis practitioners.
The BusinessAnalysis@pminj.org email list carries the Business Analysis LCI announcements, and also allows members of the list to share career opportunities, events etc. Only members of the list may email to the list.
PMINJ chapter members can subscribe / unsubscribe to the BA email list via the chapter website. To check or change your subscription status
Click the Login menu entry at the top right
Enter your PMI preferred email address and your PMINJ password (same as used for online registration) and click Login (or use the Forgot Password link to create a new password)
On the next screen, click Customer Information Area
On the Customers Pages, click Customer Information and history ...
Towards the middle of the page, Review your "Current Mailing List Memberships" and click the button if you need to change this status
The change will be effective immediately

The email address used is the one registered at www.pmi.org. If you need to change your email address, login to www.pmi.org and make the change there. Note that the NJ chapter receives a data feed from PMI periodically, so it may take up to four (4) days for the email address change to be effective at PMINJ.
